ablogwithaview asked: Meh, someone posted a rant on the Downton tag about how Mary looked underwhelmed at Matthew's proposal. I consequently got annoyed and posted that "dedication." Honestly though, Mary has NEVER looked that happy. She's glowing. What else was she supposed to do? Start screaming and flailing about? That would be SO in character.

I already know what I’m doing February 10-12: Downton Abbey Series 2 comes out on DVD in the US on February 7, so I will be watching THE WHOLE THING (Series 1 and 2), eating lots of brownies, and crying into my hanky over the gloriousness that is this amazing show.
